ABLEBIKE is a bespoke cycling workshop based in Dorset supporting both fully able and disabled riders.
We service, restore and repair mountain, road, hybrid and e-Bikes.
We are CYTECH qualified level 2 professional bike mechanics and CYTECH E-Bikes qualified. 

We only use quality original equipment manufactured parts and tools for our servicing and repair.

After spending many years enjoying mountain biking, I was unfortunately diagnosed with a serious COPD. My cycling days were well and truly over. Or so I thought  until I discovered e-bikes. I quickly realised the physical and mental health benefits. I had hope again to enjoy life.

Before buying my pre-owned e-bike, I had many questions though. These included understanding the battery v power principal; how could I be sure I  was buying the right bike for me; where and how do I get it repaired; why is it important to get it serviced; how will the  non-transfer of warranty operated by most manufacturers affect me?  All valid questions when making a significant investment,  most importantly the law relating to e-bikes.  Answers were not easy to find, so I thought why not learn myself and get the professional accreditations to help support cyclists at all levels. This was the start of my journey hopefully ablebike can help be the start of yours.

• Comprehensive workshop working to UK Health and Safety legislation, COSHH rules and British Standards.

• Pre delivery inspection.
• Brakes / Hydraulic brake bleeds / pad, rotor replacement.
• Chain replacement.
• Gears, hubs and bearings service/replacement.
• Frame alignment.
• Head reaming and bottom bracket facing.
• Wheel truing and spoke replacement.
• All work insured to British Standards.
